Thomas Francis Ulmer, of Ocean City, NJ, age 74, died on February 24, 2025. He was born December 9, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA. He was the son of Roseann Ulmer (nee DeFazio) and Walter Eugene Ulmer.

Tom was a proud graduate of Monsignor Bonner in Upper Darby, PA, and the first graduating class of Cape May Vo-Tech. He served in the Navy, and began his entrepreneurial journey at a young age by renting umbrellas and rafts on the 34th Street beach at Ulmer's Snack Bar. For over 44 years, he owned and operated Ulmer's Appliance; it was Tom's greatest honor to fix his neighbor's appliances in a time of need. He enjoyed talking with his customers and making friends everywhere he went. Tom also ventured into real estate development in Upper Township, NJ, and was actively involved in the Ocean City Exchange Club, Masonic Lodge, and Riverboat Club.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife, Lizanne; and siblings, Linda Ulmer, and Michael Ulmer. He is survived by his children, Matt Ulmer (Sharon), Kate Mitchell (Todd), Beckie Allegretto (TJ), and Laura Ganiel (Craig). He adored his six grandchildren, Ameila, Slaid, Gianna, Cameron, Jack, and Grace. He is survived by his sisters, Rosemary Phillips (Ken), and Terry Helmig (Jim); and sister-in-law, Pat Ulmer.
