TOI ROSE WISE

WISE, TOI ROSE - Born in Syracuse NY, Toi Rose Wise was granted her angel wings on April 13, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by family that loved her unconditionally. She touched so many people in her life and will be remembered as a strong, independent, loving woman. Toi Rose would have been 82 this coming May 6. She always had a beautiful smile, loving words, and warm embrace that brought so much joy to our family and people who had the opportunity to know and love her. She loved to sing and give praise to the Holy Father. Known as "Ma" to her seven sons; Stephen, Shawn, Sandor Scott, Sidney Ross, Sterling, Solomon, Sean, her god daughter Stephanie Peterson ,"Nonnie" to her 21 grandchildren: Beshonna, Mandell, Sidale, Stephon, Zikea, Anisha, Breyona, Shani, Shanasia, Shanira, Sterlisha, Madea, Sterling, Zatiq, Zadon, Zahhir, Shenika, Sidney, Shobi, Tovyah, Shaiel and 11 great grandchildren, "Rosalyn" to her two sisters, Joan Jones and Helen Derby and "Aunt Ro" to her. (oh I don't know maybe 100 + nieces and nephews) and she is always and forever "Our" Angel". Preceded in death, by her brother Stanley Thompson and her mother Patricia Slater and son, Samson Wise, II. Toi Wise left school and home at a young age and entered the University of Life's Experiences to become a successful model and dancer in NYC. She eventually returned to Syracuse and stayed 18 + years managing motherhood. She attended Syracuse University and Rutgers University for drug and alcohol counseling and later accepted a job at Atlantic County Sheriff's Dept. She resided in the Atlantic City area where she meet a lot of her friends and associates whom she loved dearly while counseling in drug and alcoholism. She also was a dear friend to Theresa Lemons and the Meadowview crew. She attended Heaven's Way Baptist Church in Egg Harbor Twp., NJ Funeral Services will be at HeavenWay Baptist Church 5082 Tremont Ave, Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234, where family and friends may view from 10 A.M. Until the time of services at 11 A.M. Burial: Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
