William McConnell Obituary
February 27, 1951 - October 29, 2025
William R. McConnell (Butch), 74, of Port Republic, passed away on October 29, 2025. Born in Pleasantville, he's lived in Port Republic for many years. Butch was a 1969 graduate of Pleasantville High School. He worked as a plumber for Local #322 in Atlantic City, retiring in 2008. Butch will be remembered as a family man. He dedicated himself to caring for his wife, Elizabeth, during her long-term illness, up until she passed away in 2022.
He is survived by his sons, William R. McConnell Jr. (Bill) and his wife, Kim, and Scott McConnell and his partner, Tina; his sisters, Sue Bennett and Donna Higgins (Tom); and his grandchildren, Hayley, William III, Britney, and Scott Jr.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Adams Cemetery, Port Republic. For online condolences, please visit www.parselsfh.com.
