Cassie Seamons Obituary

Cassie Elizabeth Seamons, 92, finished her mortal journey, and happily joined loved ones on the other side of the veil, on Saturday, June 20, 2025. Cassie was born November 25, 1932, to Allen Russell and Edna Egbert Seamons, in Fairview, Idaho. She was the first of seven children. She grew up in Fairview and attended school there.

When Cassie was younger, she played softball and basketball, which she really enjoyed and was good at. She worked for Utah Poultry Egg House for 8 1/2 years. For the next 24 1/2 years she was employed at Edwards Floral. She enjoyed her work there and retired in 1995.

Hobbies that Cassie enjoyed were art, painting, fishing, jigsaw puzzles, gardening and collecting seashells. She also did Genealogy Extraction and Temple Work for 4 1/2 years with her good friend Linda Olson.

Cassie is survived by a sister, Diane (Merlin) Weeks, and a brother Roger (Jean) Seamons, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Cassie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Clair, Larry, Boyd and a sister Betty Lou Golightly and also her good friend, Linda Olson.

The family wishes to thank the Heritage Senior Living staff for their kind service of nearly four years. A thank you also to Symbii Hospice for their recent care.
