Ronald Rohde Obituary

Ronald Rohde, 70, of Phillips passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center in Park Falls. He was born to Elmer and Irene (Herda) Rohde on September 17, 1952, in Milwaukee, WI.

He was a Phillips high school graduate. After graduation, he worked construction in Milwaukee then moved back to Phillips to start his logging career of 30+ years. He was well known for his shoreline rock walls. He was meticulous with each project and took great pride in his work. When he was not working, his passion was playing pool. He was a man of great character; he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his fiancé, Penny Huck; their dog, Riley; sisters, Linda Giefer, Jeanne (Jim) Akey; nephew, Austin (Moriah) Akey; nieces, Autumn, and Alexis Ackey.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Per his wishes, there will be Private Graveside Service at a later date. Heindl-Nimsgern Funeral Home is assisting the family.
