Barry McLean Obituary

Barry Phillip McLean, 70, a resident of Chester, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Thelma McLean; two sons, Brandon and Blake McLean.
He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Melody C. McLean; daughters, Brooke and Erica McLean; sister, Shirley M. Swan; brother, Allen W. McLean; nieces, nephews and extended family. He was retired from UPS with over 25 years of service. Barry was an avid gun collector and a member of the NRA. He was also a member of Hopewell Moose Lodge 1472 since 1977. He enjoyed his daily exercise at the Chester YMCA.
A visitation will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 6 p.m. 3050 W. Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831. A memorial service will follow Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 7 P.M. at J.T. Morris & Son Chester Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to Richmond Animal League 11401 International Dr. N. Chesterfield, VA 23236. Condolences may be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com.
