David Wrenn Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Hamner Wrenn; a daughter, Zoey Leigh Wrenn both of Colonial Heights; a son, (Little Buddy) William David "Will" Wrenn of Williamsburg; his parents, Carol Wade and David Lee Wrenn Sr. of Chester; three sisters, Angela W. Mayton and husband Dennis of Poole Siding, Tracy W. Adams of Colonial Heights, and Amy W. Spaulding and husband Matt of Chester; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Rev. Dr. Randall Hahn officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.

Dear David, Carol, Angie, Tracy and Amy,
Words cannot adequately express my grief over this loss, but if grief experienced due to a loss is comparable to the love that was felt for that person, I'm sure you realize how much we all grieve with you.
Although I didn't get to spend as much time with David in the past few years as I would have liked, I truly love him and will miss him beyond measure until I see him again in Glory. He was a wonderful cousin, friend and brother. Though we all miss him now, he left a mark on everyone he met throughout his life and we are all the better for having known him.
In the time ahead, we will all try to fill the vacuum of love and wonder he left behind. Little by little, I think we'll fill some of that with memories and our interactions with things he left behind, most notably, his children, siblings, parents, friends, extended family and the objects that held his interests over the years. Little by little, our pain will ease, replaced by our realizations of the blessings he gave us. However, he will never be forgotten or overlooked within our hearts.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the famliy of David Wrenn. I knew Angie and Tracy much better than I did David since he was younger than me I didn't know him as well, but I spent enough time in the Wrenn home as a teenager to know that he will be missed and never forgot there was a lot of love in the Wrenn home its why I gravitated towards them for so long.
