DE'SEAN R. HARRISON

On Wednesday, October 21, 2015, our hearts were saddened by the sudden loss of Mr. De'Sean R. Harrison, 24, of Ettrick, Va. He was born May 19, 199,1 in Boston, Ma., to Simone Harrison-Porter and Allen Perkins, Sr.

De'Sean received Christ at an early age at Mount Calvary Holy Church of America in Boston, Ma. By the age of two he was able to recite all the Books of the Bible. He received his education at Killen High School in Killen, Texas, and Matoaca High School, Matoaca, Va. He was a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and received numerous certificates in the field of private security. He was qualified in armed security and was a "sharp shooter." He received a certificate in personal protection and was a certified body guard. De'Sean was an entrepreneur having his own business. HE WAS A BOSS!

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother and great-grandfather, Mary F. Parham and Warren G. Parham, and a beloved stepfather, Bruce Cheatham.

De'Sean is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Simone Harrison-Porter of Ettrick, Va., and father, Allen Perkins of Boston, Ma.; four beloved sisters, Naomi Harrison and Brushanna Harrison-Cheatham, both of Ettrick, Va., Tiara and Natalia Thomas, both of Boston, Ma.; two devoted brothers, Allen Perkins McRae (Karissa) of Atlanta, Ga., and Dejuan Thomas of Boston, Ma.; as well as other siblings, Jazmine, Allen (Jessica), Corey, Aushayla (Rhaigeon), Arren, Ashlie, Darius, Natasia, and Armani; grandparents, Willie and Sylvia Harrison of Ettrick, Va., and Nora Cheatham of Matoaca, Va.; a niece, Kiani Harrison-Harmon of Ettrick, Va.; two nephews, Justis Forde and Carter McRae, both of Atlanta, Ga.; four aunts and one uncle, Priscilla Givens of Columbia, S.C., Glinda Allen (Vincent) of Hooksett, N.H., Vivian Harrison (Tammy Blight) of Derry, N.H., Gloria Hall-Brewster (Calvin) of Ossining, N.Y., and Willie Michael Harrison of Boston, Ma.; and a host of aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, great-great-aunts, great-great-uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.

De'Sean will be truly missed by all.

Services for Mr. De'Sean R. Harrison will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, 800 Augusta Avenue, Petersburg, Va., the Rev. Dr. Wesley K. McLaughlin, pastor, eulogist. Interment to follow at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.

Wake service from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, October 30, 2015, at the funeral establishment.
