Doris Barron Obituary
Chester - Doris Cox Barron, 75, mother of James E. Barron, Paula M. Barron, and Terri B. Carter passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at her Chester home of 59 years. She was a native of Matoaca and the daughter of Jacob and Emma Jane Johnson Cox. She is survived by her three children; three grandchildren, Ashley B. Linke, Jessica N. Barron, and Thomas H. Carter; brothers Charles W. and Phillip W.; and sisters, Jeanie Sokol and Janie Belcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Milton and Jake Junior; and sisters, Doris Arline Cox, Ella Mae Skinner, Rachel Sokol, and Carolyn Lee. A private remembrance of her full life is being planned. Arrangements made by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
