When we have frustrations

And answers seem out of sight,

Take the time to look above,

For God is our shining light.

When mountains seem impossible

For you to make that climb,

Remember just to look above,

For He's there all the time.

When you awake at morning’s light

And your worries seem to begin,

Just look outside your window

And let God take charge within.

Talk to Him and let Him know,

And soon you shall find,

That God is looking out for you

He knows what’s on your mind.

You can say goodbye to worry,

Just look above and pray,

For God will see your tears,

And rescue you today.

Have faith in Him, and never doubt

The power from up above.

No one in this entire world,

Will show you so much love.

Look upward and above,

To the skies ever so blue.

It's then you will realize,

God’s there for me and you.

Today I had a vision

that God came to my door.

The feeling in my heart,

I'd never had before.

He said He had a gift for me,

a very precious one.

He said it was because of all

the nice things I have done.

He said I have been kind,

and not much did I seek,

So He stopped by to give this gift,

to make my life complete.

I couldn't help but wonder,

what God must have in mind,

But in my heart I knew for sure,

nowhere else would I find.

He told me I must cherish this,

and give back all I could,

And without I doubt I knew,

I'd do everything I should.

I waited then to see,

what this precious gift would be,

He said I must give half of me;

that would be my guarantee.

He told me to hold out my hand,

but still I had no clue,

Then He placed His hand in mine,

and said my gift was YOU.

An empty chair awaits me,

in heaven at this time.

To be beside the one I lost,

last year at Christmastime.

My loved one went ahead of me,

to sit by Jesus’ throne.

The empty chair beside me,

reminds me, I'm alone.

Alone, but not forgotten,

for I know you're next to me.

Not visible to my eyes,

but by spirit I can see.

Oh, what a glorious place,

with Jesus by your side.

The place that we call heaven,

is now where you reside.

It doesn't seem that long ago,

you went to Heaven on high

So sad I was to loose you;

I never wanted to say good-bye.

This empty chair remains,

but memories are in my heart.

For when I join you in Heaven,

we'll never have to part.
