I was saddened to hear about Alvin's recent death. Alvin was truly a mentor to all that had the priviledge to work with him at the funeral home and I was one of those so fortunate. Please know we will keep the entire family in our thoughts and prayers. We hope you can find comfort in knowing so many others care.

To all of the Small family,
Alvin has always been a good example for all of us, and I'm sure you will miss him."Pillar of the Community" is often misused today, but where Alvin is concerned nothing could be more true. He was always "friend" when one was needed, and will always be remembered by me, and missed by your family.
