EBONEE GREEN Obituary
She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1994 and was baptized at an early age at Sharon Baptist Church. Ebonee was employed at Central State Hospital where she dedicated more than 15 years of loving services as a Forensic Technician. She created lasting friendships with several staff members and loved her family and friends.
Ebonee was predeceased by her father, David Fobbs; grandparents, Emma Walker, Earl Moore, Willie and Lucille Fobbs; aunt, Renee' Turner; and mother-in-law, Pauline Edmonds.
Ebonee leaves to cherish her memories, devoted husband of nine years, Matthew Green of Hopewell; three very loving and devoted children, Quadree Walker (Tynnetta), Quanece Walker (Frankie), both of Petersburg and Quanye Green of Hopewell; loving grandson, Quadree Walker Jr. of Petersburg; devoted mother, Rita Barner (Ben) of Petersburg; best friend and brother, Ben Barner Jr. (Gladys) of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, David Johnson and sister, Quianna Dean of Petersburg; one devoted stepdaughter, Ciara Ricks of Sussex; father-in-law, Matthew Dickerson of Dinwiddie; great-aunts, Occonee Hailes, Eva Murray, both of Petersburg; aunts, Shelia Fobbs of Richmond, Sherry Walker, Charlene Walker and Sabrina Ruffin, all of Petersburg; uncles, Troy Fobbs (Barbara ) of Chesterfield; Johnny Fobbs (Daphne) of Petersburg; sisters-in-law, Deborah Booth (James) and Nicole Harris of Prince George; brother-in-law, Walter Green of Petersburg; godchildren, Tianca Rich, Tyree Massenburg and Tinyia Harris of Petersburg; host of loving cousins, other family member and friends to include her Social Club The Lady Panthers.
Services for Mrs. Green will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 800 Augusta Ave., Petersburg; the Rev. Dr. Wesley K. McLaughlin, pastor, and Rev. Herbert Anderson, pastor of Sharon Baptist Church, eulogist. Interment will follow at Dinwiddie Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014, at the chapel of William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, Petersburg or may be contacted by calling 804-919-4469.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the William N. Bland and Son Funeral Home, 137 Harrison St., Petersburg, 804-732-7841. Family members and friends are invited to pay final tribute at blandenterprisesinc.com.

TO THE FAMILY OF EBONI GREEN I WOULD LIKE TO SEND CONDOLENCES . EBONIE WAS A FUN AND LOVING PERSON WHO CARED ABOUT EVERYTHING AND EVERY ONE. I REMEMBER ME AND EBONI SITTING UP ON THE PHONE FOR HOURS TALKING ABOUT OUR BROKEN HEARTS BUT WE SEEM TO HELP EACH OTHER THROUGH IT BY CRYING AND TALKING . WE STAYED UP FOR HOURS TALKING SOMETIMES EVEN FALLING TO SLEEP ON ONE ANOTHER .
