FRANK B. FULTON

Frank Barnes Fulton, 82, of Hopewell passed away on Monday, November 24, 2014. Born on July 18, 1932, in Mobile, Alabama, he was the son of the late Adelbert G. Fulton and Irene Rood Fulton and was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Terry Fulton; daughter, Deborah Fulton McGuire; brother, Monsignor, Robert W. Fulton.

Mr. Fulton served his country proudly in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War and retired from Firestone as a Senior Research Chemist. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a former member of St. James Catholic Church, Hopewell Kiwanis Club, and Jordan Point Country Club. Frank was previously the Chairman of March of Dimes, Board Member and President of Jordan Point Country Club, Executive Board Member of Hopewell American Red Cross, President of the Hopewell Kiwanis Club, Interclub Chairman of Kiwanis Division 4-B, Lt. Governor of Kiwanis Division 4-B, Interclub Chairman of Kiwanis Capital District, Circle K Administrator of Kiwanis Capital District.

Mr. Fulton is survived by his son, James G. Fulton, Col. U. S. Air Force, (Ret.) and his wife, Laura; grandchildren, Elizabeth C. Dillard and her husband, Brad, Andrew S. Fulton and his wife, Justine, Rebecca A. Fulton, Jonathan B. Fulton; great-grandchildren, Hayden and Alexis Dillard and Caroline Fulton.

Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will immediately follow starting at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
