To the Bonner and Shawn Family. I was thinking about the young man Shawn who I was asked to counsel and help get into Oak Hill acad to play basketball back in 98. I went line in attempt to find the family. This is when I found out about Mr. Gary Bonner who I met with quite a few times, having to interupt his sleep after he came from a tour of work. He was a graceous man and his family right up the road was too. So in saying to the Bonner family you have my deepest condolences, and GOD bless you all.

To The Bonner Family, it is with great sadness to know that your son, brother and husband has left us. I have had the honor and privilege to have known him since my childhood and I have the most warm and fond memories of our childhood experiences. From riding the school bus and laughing at our jokes. Playing basketball (Gary had a killer corner jump shot at DHS) swimming in the mud holes where 85 is now. Riding in Bubba Johnson's station wagon on my 16th birthday and riding our motorcycles (Gary had the nicest 750 Honda chopper ever seen) parities and ball games. I could go on and on but in closing know that Gary will be missed, sorely missed. But God sometimes calls his most worthy warriors home early for the rewards of living a good life here on earth. My love and prayers to his family. Marvin Ridley

To The Bonner Family- Janice, Shawn, Marcus, Aunt Bertha, Sheila and Warren

Our family was deeply saddened when we got the news. Although we were not physically available during this trying times from the time we heard of Gary's sickness until he left to be with his heavenly father he and you all were constantly in our prayers. I'm sure you know that God know's best in every situation we have to go through and as a family we will truly miss him but we know that because we have confessed Christ and believe that he died for our sins we WILL see him again.
Love you,
The Tuckers- Pat & Devonte`

To the Bonner family,
Please know that my prayers are with you. When I heard the news that Gary had passed away my heart was sadden. So many memories drifted through my mind. Playing in the yard as kids, walking to that saw mill way in the woods, drinking some of Uncle Walter's Potato Wine, playing cards with Jocelyn, hearing Reed's crazy laugh, WOW, what great times we had when we were all kids. So I will keep all the fond memories of Gary and all of the Bonner family in my heart. So to Gary... may your spirit have a peaceful journey to God's open arms!

Love, Carol Johnson
