GLORIA CROCKER

1955 - 2020

Gloria Crocker "Jean" 65 of 25705 Nottoway Ave. North Dinwiddie Va peacefully transitioned into enternal life on December 26, 2020 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was born December 06, 1955. She worked at Southside Virginia Training Center for 38 years where she later retired in 2014. She was a die hard Cowboys fan and loved to show it. She enjoyed watching her soap operas, shopping, listening to music, dancing, spending time with her family and friends and was a QVC queen.

She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Trotter, brother Larry Trotter Sr., son Michael Crocker Jr., and her life partner, her sweetie of 20 years Edward Johnson (JR). Gloria leaves her memories to be treasured and cherished by her devoted son Antoine Trotter (Cheryl) her one and only devoted daughter/best friend Chameeka Crocker, father, Robert Trotter sisters, Brenda Trotter, Cynthia Streat (Roney), Barbara Wilson (Donzell), brothers, Calvin Trotter (Gladys) Robert Trotter, Melvin Trotter (Charleen) Jerry Trotter (Cheryl). Grandchildren, Deangelo Thorpe, Tevin Thorpe, Andre Adkins Jr., Mikyra Crocker, King Wiggins. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly. Among them devoted friends Diane Smith, Shirley Manson, and Sylvia Myler.

A Graveside Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1 pm at the Dinwiddie Memorial Park. Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 1, 2021 from 12 Noon to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
