To The Parham Family,
You have my deepest condolences in the passing of your love one and our dear friend Greta. She will greatly be missed. I know that I will miss her. Before Greta got sick, she, CJ, Terry, Peaches, Chris, Jayden, and I set on the same pew together. Since the Parham girls have been under the weather, my pew hasn’t been the same. Now it will never be the same. Not only have you lost your love one, and myself a good friend; but Mt. Poole has lost a great and talented voice. A songbird has gotten her wings and has gone to a brand new home in Glory. Jesus told the disciples in the Book of John that “A little while, and you will no longer see Me: and again, a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.” I know that is the message that Greta wants you to know. I know that you will weep and mourn, and while you weep and morn the world will rejoice. I know that you will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. Hold your head up and know that she is alright. She is resting in the arms of the Lord. Her race has been run and He has welcomed her home. In the words of the last song that she blessed us with “Ohh the Lord has been good to me...and the Lord, the Lord has made so many ways for me. The Lord -- he's opened up so many doors - Brand new mercies I see over and over and over again -- He blessed me once and he blessed me twice. Ohh
the Lord keeps on blessing me everyday of my life. Off if the Lord doesn’t do anything else for me … he’s done enough.
May The Lord Be With You,
Sharmonique, Chris, Chris Jr., and Jayden

Mrs. Catherine it was a shock for me to hear of Greta's illness and passing and so very hurtful, Greta and I were close friends for years, she was my maid of honor at my wedding back in the 1991, we sent so much time together back then, working together at Lucy Corr and just enjoying life together, I have so many fond memories of our friendship. It was so very special, we loved each other let sisters , we spent so much time together at each other's parents homes back then from Blackstone to Dinwiddie and back thoughout the day.Your family was like my family and I know she would have said the same for mine. Our lives sent us on different pathways on this journey but she was always thought of often. Greta I love you and I have so many good memories to reflect back on when I think of you like remembering when you carried CJ, remembering her protective personality of her friends and family remembering how much she loved her family, and that make-up that just only she could wear the proper way, she taught me so much about friendship and life. You don't have to see someone everyday, but still could love with all your heart. To the family I know she will be missed by you, may God comfort you now and always.

To The Parham Family,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Greta was a sweet young lady, always had a beautiful smile implanted on her face at all times. Hold on to the memories and trust that she's home now, living each day as if it was Sunday. The death angel has been extremely busy these past few months...just always remember God makes no mistakes and to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. God bless each of you!

To the Parham Family, sad to hear of the passing of Greta, I attended church with her and her family. I extend my greatest sympathy to CJ, Mrs. Parham and family. I graduated with Greta in 1985. We attend church together. I can truly say that she was a woman who trusted god. During her illness she never gave up. She kept the fighting and continue to trust and have faith in god. She was strong and had courage even though her illness made her weak. She left and imprint on my life. You have to live each day like it is your last. To trust and lean to god and not are own understanding; and let him direct our path. Family I know you will miss her; but Greta is now in the heavenly home well everything is all right. So I say to Greta not good-bye but see you later in that heavely home. I will have your courage and not fear. I will pick up that torch and ran on for lord because only what you do for christ will last.
