Hazel Williams Obituary

Hazel Irene Williams, 86, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert T. and Grace Mae Currin Roberts; and her husband, George Floyd Williams.

Hazel was a cherished and loving mother and grandmother who is survived by her children, Betty C. Jenkins and her husband, John, Gene F. Williams and his wife, Mary, Brenda Ridout, Susan Daniel and her husband, Steve and Robert C. Williams; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.

Gene,Mary,and families,we are so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to let them go but also so hard to watch them suffer. She will be forever in your hearts and know that she is now resting in peace.
