JEROME ROBINSON Obituary
On March 9, 2021, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Mr. Jerome Robinson, entered into eternal rest at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 16, 1957 to Carrie M. Robinson.
At an early age, Jerome was baptized at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, McKenney, VA.
He retired from Double B Farm, Dinwiddie, VA with many years of service.
Jerome was also a member of the Masontown Expos and Sussex Tigers Baseball League. Playing alongside his brother and cousins was some of the highlights of his life.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl and Ronnie Robinson, grandmother; Anna Robinson, and grandfather; Edward Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, a devoted mother; Carrie M. Robinson and stepfather, Ollie" Chip" Walker of the home, two sisters; Iris Moore (Dwayne) of Emporia, VA, and Nina Pride (Robert) of Stony Creek, VA; a sister-in-law, Treasea Robinson; aunt, Lola Jones (Melvin); uncles; Bruce Robinson and Larry Robinson; two devoted nieces whom he adored; Candice Pride and Tashara Moore; devoted friends and family Mike Mabry, Thomas and Ethel Mae Bland, Jeff Staten, Margaret Brown and the Outback Hunting Club Family.
A graveside service for Jerome Robinson will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Rocky Mt. Baptist Church, McKenney, VA, with Rev. Roletta G. Banks, officiating.
Public viewing will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 from 12-7 pm at the McKenney Chapel.
