KATHRYN THERESA TUNSTALL

Kathryn Theresa Tunstall, 88, of Chester, VA, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Early V. and Nellie Blye Jacobs; her husband, Herbert Tunstall; children, Alvin Stanley Collie, and Michael Lee Tunstall; and several siblings; and devoted life-long friend Virginia Barnum. She is survived by her son, Herbert Eugene Tunstall; daughter, Carolyn Theresa Eigenbrod and husband, Steve; daughter, Vivian Elaine Weekley and husband, Scott; daughter, Virginia "Jenny" Gail Fers and husband, "Billy"; grandchildren, Bo, Mikey, Christopher, Brandon, Stan, Jessie, Brooks, Chaz, Warren, Stacey, Michelle, Lisa, Candice, and Jessica; thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, "Dot", Alma, Emily, Lois, James; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Kathryn was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and Christian. She devoted her life to Jesus and was the true example of living a Christian life. Her daughter Jenny was by her side when she needed her the most.
The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 15, 2018, at J.T. Morris and Son Funeral Home of Chester 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2018, at the Chester Chapel. Interment will follow in Powhatan Community Cemetery.
