I have so many fond and cherished memories of Lena and I growing up together, We did everything together. Even after High School, we drove to work together. After World War II was over, Lena got married and that was the first time since childhood that we had been apart. I was very happy for her but missed her so very much. After my marriage, distance kept us apart but never separated us from our love for each other. We not only loved each other but we loved each other's children. Lena was such a special sister whose memory will remain in my heart forever.

Aunt Lena and my mother, Clara, were so much alike that, when we visited Hopewell each year as I was growing up, I always felt like I was at home with Lena, Buddy, Cynthia, and Bruce. The memories of those visits have sustained me with many positive thoughts through those formative years and beyond. Lena will be missed by all in the family and all who knew her. She was, indeed, special. We are so sorry for this great loss to our family!
With our deepest sympathy, love, and respect,
