Marcellus Crittendon Obituary
He was born on July 21, 1991, in Petersburg, Va. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mrs. Valnora and Jerome Mason; also two aunt,s Mrs. Mary Rawlings and Ms. Madeline Mason.
Marcellus attended Matoaca Middle School, Matoaca High School and Petersburg High School. He loved football, basketball and numerous sports.
Marcellus was a rising star in the recording of music. His love for music consisted of RCM Family Recordings Studio with five devoted cousins, Mr. Delvonco Mason, Trevon Crenshaw, Mr. Sherman Mason, Mr. Charles Mason and Javontye Mason.
Marcellus' group was in the process of getting a recording contract.
Marcellus was affiliated with Money field/ Giniabread Entertainment under the influences of Mr. Robert Jefferson and Cortez Coggins.
His loving spirit and his quiet nature will never be forgotten.
He leaves to treasure his memories his mother, Sheree Crittendon, and stepfather, Nicholas Bostic, of Petersburg, Va.; a very devoted grandmother, Ms. Ernell Crittendon of Ettrick, Va.; a grandfather, Mr. John Crittendon of Petersburg, Va; three sisters, Iasia and Ashaunta Crittendon, and Tiara Hardy, all of Ettrick, Va.; three brothers, D'Quandre Crittendon of Petersburg, Va., Quintaze and David Hardy of Ettrick, Va,; eight aunts, Mrs. Lucille Coleman (Gerald) of Chesterfield, Va., Ms. Crystal Mason of Elizabeth City N.C., Mrs. Martha Burton Garland of Ettrick, Va., Ms. Vanessa Mason of Ettrick, Ms. Doris Walker of Colonial Heights, Va., Charni Howard of Chesapeake, Va., Mrs. Lakeisha Gee of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Phyillis Hardy of Ettrick, Va.; two devoted cousins, Mr. Henry Mason Jr. of Ettrick, Va., and Kathy Mason of Petersburg, Va.; a very special friend, Kendra Sykes of Colonial Heights, Va.; four uncles, Mr. Kristopher Crittendon of Ettrick, Va., Mr. Henry Mason Sr. of Petersburg, Va., Mr. Vernon Crittendon and Mr. Highland Crittendon, both of Florida; four great-aunts, Ms. Cynthia Medina, Barbara Fields, Gaynell Burnette, and Katherine Moore-Reid; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ, 233 Halifax St., Petersburg, Va., with the pastor, the Rev. Jeffrey L. Dodson Sr., officiating. Interment will follow in the Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery, Petersburg, Va. Remains will lie in repose one hour prior to service. The family is asking that relatives and friends assemble at the residence, 1431 Custer St., Petersburg, Va., at 2:30 day of service. The viewing will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of God In Christ.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the W.L. Fields Funeral Home, 10814 Doyle Blvd., McKenney, Va., 804-478-4811, the Rev. Jeffrey Dodson, funeral director.

Sorry for your lost I Hope all is well with the family. He sound like a good boy and a good man. Just remeber that he may be gone but he is never forgotten.
