MARY F. JOURNIGAN

Mary Frances Journigan, 89, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on October 27, 2014. Born in Franklinton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Frank M. and Berta Kelly May; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, James L. Journigan Sr. Mrs. Journigan retired from Allied Chemical after 25 years of service, and was also a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, James L. Journigan Jr. and wife, Suzanne; three daughters, Ann Bosher and husband, Marshall, Evelyn Nicley and husband, Ben, and Barbara Kincade; nine grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; three brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA.
