PATSY SUE SPENCER

Patsy Sue Spencer, 73, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. She was born on September 24, 1944, in Norfolk, Nebraska, to the late Fred and Alta Berney Beyer. Mrs. Spencer was of Lutheran faith, but also attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Colonial Heights and enjoyed the many visits the missionaries made to her home to share their beliefs. She was a CNA for many years and a beautician. Her passions included watching wrestling on TV and country music.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Delmar Spencer; son, Troy Spencer; daughter, Karen Marshall; grandsons, Christopher Spencer, Anthony Spencer, Zachary Averell, and Ali Spencer; granddaughter, Brittney Spencer; great-grandson, Nuada Spencer; brothers, Ronny and Larry Beyer; sisters, Pearl Farmer, Dorothy White, and Donna Geak; and a niece, Connie Benedict.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, VA 23805. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at the funeral home.
