RONALD WILLIAMS Obituary
He accepted Christ at an early age at St. Johns Baptist Church in Reading, PA. He received his education with Reading Pennsylvania Public Schools and attended Virginia State College (University) for two years where he holds one of the highest SAT scores to date. Shortly after he then received his apprenticeship in blueprinting. He went on to paint with his father in the family painting business.
Mr. Williams loved to be around family, he always mentioned the importance of being together. He always was a lending ear in any situation and he offered his wisdom to anyone who asked. He loved his music (R&B, '70's Music and Jazz). His family and friends will always remember his smile and laugh and the fact that he would always say, "Yeah,Yeah,Yeah".
Mr. Williams was a great Son, Husband, Father and Uncle. He will truly be missed.
He is predeceased by his wife, Carmen Williams; maternal grandparents, Garland and Bettie Harris; and paternal grandparents, Norman and Mazerlean Williams.
Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Marquetta Pruitt of Portland, OR, and Samarian Parker of Oxford, NC; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild; mother, Dorothy Williams of Chesterfield, VA; one sister, Andrea Williams of Chesterfield, VA; two brothers, Darryl Williams of Orlando, FL, and Bobby Williams of Reading, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, 2019, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA. The interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, South Chesterfield, VA.
The family will assemble 12 Noon the day of the service and will receive friends at 4200 Whitestone Drive, North Chesterfield, VA.
