Petersburg - God in his Infinite wisdom called to rest, our beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Steven D. Foster, on August 10, 2021. Steven was born July 13, 1988 in Petersburg, VA to Vella A. Brown and Charles H. Foster.
He was precede in death by his maternal grandmother, Dora S. Hill, paternal Grandmother, Mary Siggers, one brother; Charles J. Foster (Ricky Lee) and two cousins; Timothy Hill and Derrick R. Patterson (D. P.)
At an early age Steven gave his life to Christ and joined BroadRock Baptist Church, Richmond, VA. Steven attended George Wythe High School, Richmond, VA and later received his G.E.D. He also enjoyed playing on the football and basketball teams in high school. He worked at Aunt Sarah's Pancake House.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving mother, Vella A. Brown (Weeladdie); father, Charles H. Foster; grandmother, Maxine Brown; one sister; Monique S. Hill; three brothers, Keith Foster, Kevin Foster, and Carlos Brown; eight aunts,Susie Robinson, Connie Valenzuela (Livio), Arbella Lee (James), Darlene Brown, Vanessa Brown, Blanche Bates, Dale Paige-El (Robert), and Orlando Morman, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to name; one devoted niece, Dominique Eggleston, and a very special friend, Testelle Thornton.
A graveside service will be 12 noon, Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Hill Family Cemetery, Troublefield Rd., Stony Creek, VA. , Rev. Joseph Williams, eulogizing. Public viewing will be Monday, August 16, 2021 from 12 -7 pm at the funeral home.
