Tonda Anderson Obituary
Tonda attended the Chesterfield County Public Schools. Graduate of Thomas Dale High, class of 1991, and was a former employee at Boar's Head Company, until her disability made it impossible for her to continue to work.
Tonda was a very loving, intelligent, hard working person who loved to sing and dance. She devoted herself to her beautiful children whom she loved so dearly. She cherished life and was very supportive of her family.
Tonda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Otis Wells and Ruth Brown Anderson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted mother, Sandra Anderson of Petersburg; her children, Tyrone Montrell Graves Jr., and Briana Desiree Robinson; a devoted sister, Fatima Anderson of Chesterfield County; one nephew, Damonyé Anderson; two uncles, Charles Brown of Houston, Texas, and Ivory Anderson of Petersburg; two aunts, Sarah Thompson, and Alice Anderson, both of Petersburg; cousins, Gilbert Thompson, Debra Harris (Bruice), Bobby Thompson, Paula Thompson, Monica Fox (Daryl), Temesia Anderson, Sharonda Medina, Cynthia Brown, Toronda Harvell (Shaun), Ivory Williasms, Ne'Dedra Williams and Brandon Garner; and other relatives; and friends, among them, Denise Mattox, Debra Williams, and Letitia Thompson.
A funeral service for Ms. Tonda D. Anderson will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment Inc., 102 South Ave., Petersburg, the Rev. Dr. Nathan Quick, eulogist. The interment will be held at Wilkerson Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 555 South St., Petersburg.

Our heart's were saddened and filled with compassion for your family after hearing about the fight Tonda so bravely fought to stay with you all. She was always strong and courageous even as a little girl. Her smile lite up the room when she found something funny and her courage stood out when so meant business. She has fought a good fight with everything within her. To Sandra, Fatima and the Anderson Family. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal. I did not get a chance to meet Tonda, but I am acquainted with many of you. What can I say! So much.....I thank God for allowing us the opportunity to walk into each others lives in 1995 because it opened the door for many great friendships and without you I may not have ever met your dear sweet sister! You had me to get on your nerves at work when she couldn't but who ever would have thought that years later the girl you loved to talk about would end up being my coworker and one of my greatest friends! You fought a long fight but only God knew best and with that I express my deepest condolences to Ms. Sandra Ann, Fatima, Monye, Brianna and TJ!
