To the Rapole Family,
I'm sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories and learned a lot from Mr, Rapole when he taught 4-H woodworking in Branchville in the mid 70's,

Dear Lee Rapole Family,
I am terribly sorry to hear about the loss of Lee. Lee was a high school classmate of mine and I remember him as being this funny guy who liked to tease. He had this wonderful smile and had been known to write with a ball point pen on my new yellow dress, much to my dismay. He boasted of this act at our 50th year class reunion. Still the same Lee that I had remembered.
I hope you take proud of his service to his country. Serving two tours in Vietnam was not an easy thing to do and the attitude back then was not that thankful to Veterans.
I want you all to know that there were a lot of classmates that were notified of Lee's situation the night before he passed. A lot of them were sending prayers for a comfortable passage to heaven for him; and they were praying for strength for you, his family at this difficult time. I hope you find peace and comfort in your memories of him. May God Bless you all; and may Lee Rest in Peace.
Sincerely,
Bonnie (Predmore) Matters
