CHARLES HANKINSON Obituary

CHARLES HANKINSON 9/1/1968 - 6/11/2025 Charles Ray Hankinson passed away in his home on the evening of June 11, 2025. Born September 1, 1968 in Paulding, Ohio. Chuck was the son of the late Ellen and Theodore Hankinson. He graduated from Paulding high school in 1987. Chuck served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and fought over seas in the Gulf War, or Desert Storm. He took pride in his service and we honor him for his time in the marines. Chuck had most recently worked at 2 Brothers Generators out of Grabill, IN as well as nearly 20 years at Cooper Farms in Oakwood, Ohio. He enjoyed live music, time with his family, watching sports including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame and New York Yankees and enjoyed dining with his wife at their favorite restaurant Sol Bird. He is survived by his wife, Tonya Hankinson; his daughter, Jenna Hankinson; step children, Ian, Adrian and Haley; as well as his two sisters Becky and Rhonda and brother Chris. Chuck will be deeply missed by all of his loved ones. We are so very grateful to be blessed with the time with him that we were given. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 and begin at 4 PM. The location of the service will be at the Barrel House in Fort Wayne, IN. The address is 2417 Spy Run Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. We will also be having a flag folding ceremony to honor his military service. If inclined, please join us in wearing your Pittsburgh Steelers, Notre Dame, or New York Yankees jersey or shirt.
