Albert Crabtree Obituary

CRABTREE, ALBERT EDWARD "RED" 97, of Hope Street passed away on November 16th. He was the husband of Rita (Francis) Crabtree and the late Maria (Quintal) Crabtree. Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Albert and Adelaide (Simas) Crabtree. He was the father of Linda (James) Wappman of New York, Noreen (Richard) Lapointe of Bristol and Albert E. Crabtree Jr. of Florida; stepfather of Gerald Furtado of North Kingston and Manuel "Sonney" Furtado of Bristol; grandfather of Steffany Hudson, Daniel Lapointe, Gerald Furtado and Dylan Furtado; great grandfather of Zachary and Lorelei Hudson. He was the brother of Doris Benevides of Bristol and the late Alice Pacheco. His funeral will be held Thursday, November 20th, 9 AM from the George C. Lima Funeral Home, 367 High Street, Bristol with a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 AM at St. Michael Church, 399 Hope Street. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Bristol. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael Church, Bristol Rescue Squad or the RI Veterans Home. www.limafh.com
