Albert D'Arezzo Obituary

D'AREZZO, ALBERT L., 83, of Cranston passed away Sunday June 15, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Anna (Rossi) D'Arezzo. They were married for the past 60 years.

He was born in Cranston the son of the late Luigi and Maria (Zanfagna) D'Arezzo. Mr. D'Arezzo was the President of the D'Arezzo Brothers Concrete. Albert was a master craftsman, he enjoyed gardening, mushrooming, walking, shopping, socializing with friends and was his happiest when doing things for others. He was also a WWII Army Veteran.

Besides his beloved wife Anna he is survived by his loving daughters, Alberta Truppi and her husband Joe of Cranston, Susanne Brophy of Johnston, his sister, Clara DiBattista of Cranston, his cherished grandchildren, Tara, Joseph, Matthew, Christopher, great grandchildren Matthew, Alexis, Joseph, Jianna, Jaimeson and the late Jocelynn. He was the brother of the late Pasco, Raymond, Bartholomew, Louis, Anthony D'Arezzo, Elizabeth Furia, Jennie Quaranta, Catilda Gerbino and Amelia Smith.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St. Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston.
