Dear Eileen and family,
I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Al was such a wonderful man, always good-natured and fun to be with. He was a great friend to my father, and I'll always cherish that. May God help you through these next few days and months as you learn to live life without him - it's never the same, but you do learn to cope over time.
All my best,

My Uncle Al was moe than an uncle. He was always there for me and was like a second father. I remember him coming to my soccer games, taking us to Yankees games and helping me campaign when I ran for office. My favorite memory was the week I spent with him when I was 14 helping with his plumbing work. He said he needed help but I know now that he wanted to show me what hard work was like. I think about that week we spent together often. Al was also my godfather and was my sponsor when I was confirmed many years ago. I miss him and I only wish I could be with my Aunt Eileen and cousins; Al, Lynne, Donna and Maria to grieve together. He was a great man but the memories we have of him will eternally endure. With much love. Aidan

Dear Father Ranallo. My family is so sorry to hear of your loss. You might remember that you visited my father at least 3 times at Briarcliffe, gave him the Anointing of the Sick and forgave my father's sins at Confession shortly before he died. You also celebrated the funeral Masses at St. Augustine's for each of my parents, who died 40 days apart. Camillo's 3-year anniversary of his earthly death will be next Monday, October 22. We miss them both dearly, so we understand what you are going through. God bless us all.

Dear Auntie Eileen and Family, My fondest memory of Uncle Al is playing badminton with him at a family outing when I was about 10 years old. He took the time to entertain a kid and for that he always has held a special place in my heart. A truly kind and gentle man who will be missed by all of us.
