Alfred Beaulieu Obituary

BEAULIEU, ALFRED P. 92, a longtime resident of Warwick, passed away Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at Kent Regency Center. He was the husband of Edith I. (Woulfe) Beaulieu, they had been married for 70 years. Born in Providence and raised in West Warwick, a son of the late Alfred and Agnes (Tetreault) Beaulieu. Mr. Beaulieu was a mechanical engineer with Elmwood Sensors for 24 years before retiring in 1987. He was a WW II Navy Veteran and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Warwick. Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Paul Beaulieu and his wife Denise of North Providence, John Beaulieu and his wife Louise of Warren and James Beaulieu and his wife Donna of Warwick; two brothers, Raymond Beaulieu of West Warwick and Richard Beaulieu of West Palm Beach, FL; a sister, Rita Santilli of Coventry; seven grandchildren, Geoffrey Beaulieu, Joseph Beaulieu, Erica Makowski, Michael Beaulieu, Justin Beaulieu, Gregory Beaulieu, and Amanda Beaulieu-Smith; and three great grandchildren, Emily and Katie Beaulieu, and Alexander Makowski. He was the brother of the late Teresa Poulin, Albert and George Beaulieu. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014 at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick. Interment will follow with military honors in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. A Memorial gathering will be held Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 from 4-7 pm in the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd., Ste. 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256 (woundedwarriorproject.org) in his memory would be appreciated.
