Alfred Ogden Obituary

OGDEN, ALFRED JR., 86, died peacefully at the home of his daughter Cynthia Ogden Paris of Newport. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Alfred Ogden and Kathryn (Maguire) Ogden. He is predeceased by his loving wife R. Margaret (Mulligan) Ogden. Besides his daughter, he is survived by his son-in-law Craig Paris and loving grandchildren Hannah, Hayden and Owen Phiefffer and many nieces and nephews. Alfred is also survived by a brother John (Bud) Ogden and his wife Mary of Atlanta, Georgia and A. June Tait of Green Hill, South Kingstown. He was predeceased by a sister Thelma Storin of Pawtucket. He was an army veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a long time employee for the City of Central Falls and was extremely gifted in art and music. Al had a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to all those who knew and loved him and he will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be private.
