Alfred Souza Obituary
Mr. Souza was a veteran Of WWII, serving in the European Theater, most notable Normandy and Germany. Mr. Souza was a school bus driver for the Serpa Company before his retirement.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Rosemarie Volante; two sons, Alfred and Kenneth Souza; four sisters, Ruth Medeiros, Anna Lupo, Alice DiPalma, and Geraldine Bettencourt; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Albert, Joseph, William, Robert, Clarence, Frank, and Madeline Souza.
Calling Hours Friday MORNING, 8:30 - 10 AM in the A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins St., Providence. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., Providence. Military burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations to: Fox Pt. Mr Souza, what can I say, he was a wonderful man...I took care of him his last few weeks at Waterview Villa we had the best laughs, everytime I go back in that room I can't help but to think he's in that bed saying.." You ready for me" I miss him dearly..May you rest in peace...AL
