Mike and Donna, my dear precious friends, I can't begin to express to you my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Remember the prayer always. It was a very special gift. Michael keep it close to your heart because it will carry you through any adversities you may encounter in your life. Alice was a very special lady and i'm so happy I could visit with her in her last months with all of us. Her power of persuasion was short of hysterical, such was the case as she helped my son when he came home from europe to regain his US drivers liscense. One word, one number and off and running he was. Amazing clout she possessed and believe me she's bossing them around up there now. Bet on it! MIke you have been a good son to your mom and she is shining down on you and Donna, Alice will never forget your genuine efforts to be the best daughter-in-law anyone could ever hope for which you undoubtedly acheived, hands down. Love you both dearly and may Alice rest in peace always.

With the Flower in Her Hair
Alice was one of Gods special people with love in her heart for all who touched her life and always there to help anyone selflessly.
With the Flower in Her hair.
My Mother Alice was a social butterfly with bright colored wings and a zest for life, love, prayer and laughter for everyone she connected with while on god's earth. Such was her legacy.
With the Flower in her Hair.
My Mom's footprint in the sand was a powerful force which generated with anything she decided to initiate, whether for friends, family or foe.
As Always..........................
With the Flower in Her Hair
My mother Alice was deeply devoted to her family, friends and the love of her church, "Holy Cross" which she embraced
with all her heart. One could feel her light shining down on all that came to Romano Funeral Home to respect her life. On a special note, Bishop Gelineau was her dearest closest friend
for many years and his eulogy to my mother was nothing short of a loss for words. Such a justice for an unforgettable mom, friend, wife sibling and precious servant of the lord. Love and will miss you always mom.
With the Flower in her Hair
I love you mom, your baby Michael. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxooxoxoxoxoxxo

Aunt Alice was an amazing lady. She helped me obtain my first internship in the social work field. Aunt Alice was working at Pro-Cap. There were many programs in the building and Aunt Alice was the first person the clients would see. I watched her warmly great each person walking through the door, treating them with the utmost respect and dignity. She made sure everyone was ok, asking if they needed anything and if they did...she made it happen. Through out the years and conversations with Aunt Alice she continued to maintain her compassion for others, her willingness to help. I will miss you Aunt Alice and those special embraces, whispers of kindness and love in my ear each time we saw each other. Thank you for all you did for me. Love Barbara D'Alessio

To the D'Alessio Family -
I am so saddened to hear of your dear mother's passing. Alice was a true original, and I can see her now, behind the eye test machine at the DMV, with a flower in her hair and a smile for everyone. When I came to be in the position of her supervisor, I was just a baby by her standards, and she taught me plenty about life. The world is certainly a little less bright without Alice's smile and laughter. May your happy memories give you some peace and comfort during this difficult time. Love and prayers to YOU, Mama Alice!

I'm so saddened to learn of Alice's passing. Alice & I served as delegates to the 1973 Constitutional Convention but served on different sides of the aisle. I believe we did serve on the same committee for legislative pay amendment. I was pleasantly surprised one time when I went to have my license renewed and Alice remembered me as she gave me the eye and took my photo.
May your memories help you today and in the future.
