It has often been said you meet the nicest people through community theater. And that certainly was true of Fred and Alice Reinhardt. To Fred and Alice’s extended family, Steve and I extend our deepest heartfelt sympathy.
They were a couple that truly complemented each other. The warmth with which they open their home was so honest and sincere. It seemed we were always the last to leave the holiday celebration at their home in Woonsocket.
Alice could be described as a Renaissance woman. Knowledgeable in so many venues. With whom it was always a pleasure and treat to hold a conversation.
Fred and Alice were so generous supporting TheatreWorks in Woonsocket. We appreciate that they were responsible for dressing many a stage set with the proper period pieces. It was always a joy to look down from the stage and see them in their front row seats. Their enthusiasm was infectious and gave a boost to these two amateurs knowing that they were in the audience.
Thank you Alice for the fond memories you have given us.
Again to Fred and family be warmed by your memories of a wonderful lady. Please keep Alice’s theatre family in mind as plans are made for her celebration of life the coming summer.
Fondly,
Joe Casey and Steve Slate

The world is a little less bright with Alice gone. What a sweet, wonderful lady she was! She and Fred used to loan antiques for Theatre Works' productions. They also held the most wonderful holiday parties. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to you, Fred.

I knew Alice as a RIC student ('59) and college alumnus. Classmates, sixty years past, are rarely remembered, but Alice Corsair was one unforgettable dynamic student leader, brilliant mind with organizing ability that predicted the successful life and career that was hers. A native Rhode Islander, Alice contributed much to the State's education and cultural life. Condolences to her family and friends.

Alice and Fred Reinhardt were two of the most important people in my life. Fred was my teacher, coach, mentor and friend. Alice was his better half. The first time I met Alice was when she invited the members of Fred's Bryant Cross Country team to dinner in 1968-I got there a half hour early and Alice, still in the middle of preparations, told me never to get to the Reinhardt house early. I stayed in touch with Fred and Alice through they years-I was at their home for many functions and they were at my 1983 wedding, my 1989 40th birthday party and my 2009 60th birthday party. The last time I visited was the pre pandemic Nov 22, 2019 at their new apartment at the Village at Waterman. It was funny that Alice always told me I always looked the same even though she has known me over 50 years
