Ann Carbone Obituary

CARBONE, ANN (ORLANDO), 78, of Lexington Ave., passed away June 5th at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Guido A. Carbone for 52 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Carmella (Leone) Orlando. Mrs. Carbone had worked as a textile mender for the Worcester Textile Mills for 37 years, before retiring. She was a member of the Sons of Italy Renaissance Lodge.

Devoted mother of Sandra A. Carbone. Aunt of several nieces and nephews. Sister of the late John and Louis Orlando.

Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Funeral Thursday at 8 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Ave., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, dontations to St. Andrews School, 63 Federal Road, Barrington, RI 02806. pontarellimarinofunerals.com
