Anna Iacono Obituary

IACONO, ANNA M. (ROSSI), 80, passed away Monday April 18, 2016. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Iacono. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Maria (Lamantia) Rossi. Mrs. Iacono was a buyer for the former Douglas Drug for over 35 years before retiring in 2011. She lived many years in North Providence and enjoyed the theatre, traveling and dancing. She was the beloved mother of Deborah A. Brown of Slatersville, William L. Iacono of N. Providence and Robert J. Iacono of Louisiana. She was the sister of Rachael Calcagni, Vencina Parenteau, Nina Pagano and the late Frances Grasso. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her funeral will be held Thursday April 21, 2016 at 8:30am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am inSt. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville. Visitation respectfully omitted. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated. Information and Condolences, TuckerQuinnFuneralChapel.com
