Anthony Darezzo Obituary

DAREZZO, ANTHONY 'TONY', 75, of Hopkins Manor and formerly of Moorefield St., Providence passed away November 18, 2007. He was the son of the late Samuel and Maria (Vietry) Darezzo.

Tony was employed by Hallmark Healey and was a Korean Army Veteran. He made his home at Hopkins Manor where he was treated like a king by the loving and kind staff of South 2. He would wait for rounds to be finished so the aides could hang out with him. Tony enjoyed all their stories and loved to laugh with them.

He was the brother of the late Samuel Darezzo; uncle of Marie Lucciola, Anthony Darezzo, Carlo and Brianna; dear friend of Gladys and Joe Forte and John Catolino.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Wednesday at 9:00 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Romano Funeral Home.
