To the Family,

My deepest sympathy on your loss. When I heard the news, my heart dropped immediately. So I cannot imagine the trauma that you went through, but my heart goes out to everyone. I knew Bailey from two classes at Wheaton. She sat next to me, a couple of times, and we would talk. She told me about her adventures before coming to school and how fascinating the world really can be.

I admired her for her intelligence and kindness. I will always remember her.

To the family-

My deepest sympathies go out to all of you. I worked at the Gatehouse with Bailey for a few years and have some wonderful memories. I always admired her for her free spirit and strong opinions. She was loved by all and touched everyone she met in a special way. I will cherish the time I had with her.

My deepest condolences to Bailey's family and friends. She was more than an academic student of religion, for her work with the children at Casa reflected her urge to act on the scriptural teachings to "repair the world." Wry, self-ironical, optimistic and upbeat, she was a real original, and we'll miss her.

To Bailey's family:

I am so sorry for your terrible loss. Bailey was an exceptional young woman in every way. It was a joy and honor to serve as her intial college advisor and to have her in class. She packed more into 23 productive and influential years than most people do in triple that lifetime. The Wheaton community will miss her greatly, and will be thinking of all of you in this difficult time.

Dear Bill, Amy, Beecher,Turner, Tilden and Moses,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although it has been years since I have seen Bailey and the rest of you, I will never forget our time together on Keene Street. Although the kids were so young then, I could feel the greatness of each of your children grow through the love that you shared with them. I am so very sorry that the world and your family has lost someone much too early. My daughter, Cicely, says that the people who have left us are angels in the sky who catch all of those balloons that fly away too soon. We will send one up to her.

Love, The Kaufers

My deepest sympathies to the entire family and all of Bailey's friends. I knew Amy briefly as we marked the birth of our daughters around the same time and celebrated by colthing them in pure cotton. Hoping that same purity and innocence can grace this solemn time.

Bailey was a beautiful, fun, loving, care free, smart, exciting spirit who embraced life and embraced others. Whenever you would see her sitting in the dimple, out on a bench by the pond, or at a party, she always looked like she was having an amazing time, even if she was just walking past you. The last time I saw Bailey, we sat in East Side Pockets on Thayer Street with Colby and Peter and talked about new jobs and new apartments and new exciting ideas for life after Wheaton. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. Her spirit will always be with us, to drive us to do amazing things, and to live life the way she did: to the fullest.

From the day Bailey moved in, I knew she would become a great friend. Her fun, sarcastic sense of humour fit right in. She was such a comfortable person to be around, making anyone feel at ease and as though you had known her for years. Bailey was always up for any adventure. One of my foundest memories was spending my birthday with her a couple of weeks ago. She made me a double layer chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a sweet birthday card. We drove around in the snowstorm and left the windows open so it snowed in the car too. It was a magical day. I will miss those smiling irish cheeks.
