BARBARA ANGELONE Obituary
Barbara was born October 19, 1922 in Cumberland, RI to Herbert and Hannah (Stock) Oakley. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Robert and was the widow of Henry (Harry) Angelone to whom she was married for 41 years. She was a nurse at RI Hospital as well as a Visiting Nurse, and worked for Warwick Health Center until her retirement.
She is survived by her four children, Ron Angelone and his with Rita of Midlothian, Virginia, Roger Angelone of Warwick, RI, Donna Kerkhoff and her husband Noel of St. Cloud, Florida and Barbara Angelone of Cranston, RI. She was a grandmother of 10 and a great-grandmother of 8. She is best remembered by her family and friends as one of the sweetest, most gentle and generous souls who ever lived.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home, 571 West Greenville Rd., North Scituate, RI 02857. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Faustina Catholic Church, 742 Dyer Ave., Cranston, RI 02920.

I was sorry to hear of Shawnee's passing...we are sending prayers and good thoughts your way. She was truly a gentle and generous soul...and I loved her stuffed artichokes! Take care and we'll be in touch!

My fondest memories are Ft Lauderdale beach with Shawnee, Harry and my young family playing cards and dining on Shawnee's Lasagna, eggplant parm and roasted red peppers! She inspired me -she was unique and will be missed by all.
