Beatrice Shippee Obituary
Born in West Warwick, a daughter of the late Nathan and Annie (Harlow) Canaan, she had lived most of her life in Coventry. Beatrice was the Office Manager at the former Manhattan Tomato Company in Providence for 26 years.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Ralph N. Shippee Jr. and his wife Mary, a sister, Cecelia Masse, two granddaughters, Kimberly and Jennifer Shippee. She was a sister of the late William and Charles Canaan and Alice Murphy.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 am from the Robert A. Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St., Coventry with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Joseph's Church, West Warwick. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm.
