When I saw your mom's beautiful face in the newspaper obituaries my heart stopped. It was her high school picture and I graduated with her. We were in homeroom together throughout junior high and highschool and always sat next to each other. I have never forgotten her. She was just the nicest, friendliest person to everyone and always wore that beautiful smile. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Last year my husband was in a very severe motorcycle accident so I was at the RI hospital for over a month. One day I thought I saw her standing outside the ambulatory unit as I sat in my car in traffic and I wanted so badly to get out of the car to run and say hello, but was afraid to because of the many, many years that we had not seen each other, but boy how I wish I had. I saw her face from the street and knew immediately that it was her, she still had that beautiful smile!!

My prayers are with you and your entire family. Looking at the photos, you both look just like her, so she lives on in both of you.

God bless you both,

Patty Maggs (Lanni)
