Caroline Tober Obituary
She was the loving sister of her twin brother Michael Charles Tober and sister Abigail Lee Tober. Cherished granddaughter of Kenneth M. and Enid R. (Frucht) Tober and Albert C. and Paula L. (Schiavino) Wilcox all of Warwick and great granddaughter of Elvira Schiavino. Caring niece of Amy and Ryan Brown, Jennifer and Thomas Sheehan, and Carol-Lynn Wilcox.
A Mass of the Angels will be celebrated Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gregory The Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday 2-5 p.m. in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). I never held Caroline in my arms, nor saw her, but I heard about her birth through my sister, Lynda Fusaro and Caroline's Aunt Carole Snow. A bond was established in my heart and I prayed for her for the year she has been with us. Each Sunday, I took the sacrament in her name and prayed God would heal the beautiful little girl he had sent with her brother. Sometimes, God says, "No." He who sees the longer and broader picture knows what is best and chooses His best time.
I have written a poem and will send it to the parents. In the meantime, may God place within each tear a memory of the innocence and patience of an adorable child. God grant you a quiet deep peace in your hearts.
