Cecilia Pietras Obituary

PIETRAS, CECILIA A.,

(JEDRZEJEC) 85, formerly of Benoit St., passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Alpine Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Felix H. Pietras. Born on March 21, 1925 in Coventry, RI, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Pola) Jedrzejec.

Cecilia was employed for 31 years as an administrative assistant at the Quonset Point Naval Air Station before retiring.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy P. LaGuardia of West Hartford, CT, and Donna L. (and Reggie) Oliver of West Greenwich, a son David J. (and Robin) Pietras of West Warwick, a grandson Marcus D. LaGuardia, and two brothers, Edwin Jedrzejec of West Warwick and Daniel Jedson of Florida. Cecilia was predeceased by two sisters.

Her Funeral will be Wednesday at 9:00 am from the R. A. IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church. Interment in R I Veterans Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4 -7 pm. www.iannottifh.com
