He was a life-long Red Sox baseball and URI basketball fan. An avid golfer, he was a long-time member and past president of the Pawtucket Country Club. His wit, humor, and commanding personality will be missed by all. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, William C. Curran of Millis, MA and J. David Curran of Warwick; and a daughter, Marie D. Glass of Rockville. He was a loving and devoted grandfather and "Pop" to Tara Moniz of Hope Valley, David S. and Carolyn Curran of Millis, MA, and Megan, Erin, and Michael Curran of Warwick. Lived next door to Ruth, Bill, Marie and David for 21 years. IT was the best times of my life, (Stadden Street). I wish I was back in that neighborhood with the Currans. Take care and may the good Lord Bless You All.

Dear Ruth,
So sorry to hear today of Charlie's passing away. I have such fond memories of traveling with Charlie and David Armitage calling on customers in the Dalton area and all over the U.S. Charlie was always good for a laugh with his great sense of humor and his sometimes salty language. He was a wonderful friend and advisor.

Ann and I were talking today about the California trip we made with you and Charlie. So much fun and we got some business done too.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Kind Regards,
Bob Harrell

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
