Charlie you were an encourager to those around you. You inspired me in my life with christ. Your words was not to let nothing or anyone turn me away from God. You said that I did what you needed to do except Christ. You said to always let my light shine and never let it go out. I love you cousin and I will always hold you dear in my heart. Thank you for giving me your love and support.

Uncle Charlie,
I love you. And I thank you for loving me unconditionally..family is family. Your unexpected visits will be missed, the way I never had to send out an invitation for cook-outs or parties will be missed. If we were having it, Uncle Charlie will be there. Who is NOT going to help me with my yard sales and report to Mike everything I sold before he got home. I so love you. Just to make me smile when my day at work wasn't going well. The phone messages with no number but a request to call back. Your passing is as close to loosing my dad as possible. And the only thoughts that get me through this, is to know you MUST be smiling at me right now. Thank you for just being you and explaining to me, that I can only love someone for themselves. To love people inspite of the things they do. Love is Love. And thank you for just always being real with me. I will miss you, look down on me and help me when I need it. Grandma still does.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To Charlie's Wife, Children, Friends, and the whole Graham Family,
I didn't hear of Charles passing until this morning when my Dad called to tell me that he was on the way to the funeral. I was caught off guard because I wasn't aware that he had passed.
The last time I had the pleasure of being in Charles's company was when Bobby Martin passed. We were in a conversation about Bobby and at that time Charles had learned that Bobby had accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
He was quite pleased about this.
When I think about Charles, I will always remember his big smile, his brotherly hugs and kisses on the check. He had a knack for making you feel like family. I will also remember his no nonsense, but playful personality..
I believe that both he and Bobby are with our heavenly Father and that they are rejoicing in heaven.
Remember, if God brought you to it His grace and mercy will bring you through it.
God Bless each and every one of you...

To the Graham Family my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Charely will be missed by many but he will not be forgotten. Charely had a unique way of making you smile and laugh even when you didn't want to. One of his favorite sayings was "You know I love you". Well Charley I hope you know that I loved you to and will miss you. I know that I will think of you often and when I do I will no doubt smile as I will be remembering the good times we shared growing up and the times shared recently.

I was given the opportunity this past year to meet this wonderful man during one of his family visits to South Carolina. He served a wonderful breakfast but burned the bacon!
I will never forget one of the last things he said to me. "Keep the faith...I don't know what else to tell you."
My prayers and thoughts are with you all in Rhode Island.
Enjoy your time together as a family.
