It´s hard to believe it´s been 10 years since Kiffer´s passing. I think of him, his brother John, and his parents every time I drive past the mill. I would like to imagine they are happily haunting the place!

Dear Quinn Family.
I lived in Carolina for a number of years and Kiffer was a great friend to me. I will never forget how much he made me laugh, his generousity, and keen spirit. The mill stands as a testiment to his passion and creativity. My deepest sympathy to the Quinn family and I regret that I did not hear about Kiffer before this.

There wasn't a day that wasn't made better by seeing Kiffer. I'll miss the arm waving out the window as we'd pass on the road, or the "deep" conversations we'd have in the Post Office parking lot. I'm so sorry for your family's loss.

Kiff my friend, I will miss you. We had a lot of great times, especially while I was working on the addition to the "Folly". My family always enjoyed having you over the house "for a beer". You were dealt "a bad hand" these last couple years. You are at peace now and I know you will take good care of Loie, Chips, Gram, and of course "Leather".
