Corinne Resmini Obituary

RESMINI, CORINNE M., (BARRETTE) 88, formerly of King Philip Street, passed away December 27, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Resmini.

Born in Warwick, RI she was the daughter of the late Aldridge and Laura (Audette) Barrette.

She was the mother of Ronald J. Resmini, Esq., Wayne G. Resmini, Esq. and Karen A. Dickie. She had eight grandchildren, Jason, Adam, Andrew, Bianca, Joshua and Jordan Resmini and William and Brittney Dickie. She is also survived by her brother, George Morris Barrette, sisters, Claire Barrette and Beatrice Hayden and the late Conrad, Rudolph and Norbert Barrette. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Corinne will be remembered by so many for her wit, warmth and smile.

Her residence for the past four years was at Bay Spring Village and Orchard View Nursing Home where she enjoyed an extended family who became more than caretakers but loving and caring friends. Her doctorate degree was in motherhood; she had no equal. Devotion, sacrifice, (she would go without so that others would not) and moral support were her creed. For that, and more, we are eternally grateful.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held December 29, 2007 (TODAY) at 9:30 a.m. in St. Luke Parish on Washington Road in Barrington. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence, where she will be laid to rest with her husband Joseph of 60 years who predeceased her August 23, 2001. Donations in her memory can be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, [email protected]., or the RI Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman St., Providence, RI 02906, would be appreciated. Arrangements by A.A. MARIANI & SON Funeral Home, Providence.

Dear Mr. Resmini,
I doubt you will remember me, as it's been many years. I worked for Milt Bernstein for 16 years until his death in '88.
I am so sorry for your loss and do know what you are going through, as I lost both parents last year wtihin 6 mos. I had been their caretaker for over 3 yrs. We are actually neighbors as I bought their house that I grew up in in the plat.
Please take care of yourself and my sympathies to all of your family.
Most sincerely,
Marie McFarland
