Dante A. Cedrone

CEDRONE, DANTE A., DPM, 80, of Bonita Springs, FL and Cranston passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Sadie (Oliveri) Cedrone. They would have celebrated fifty years of marriage in 2007.

Born in Italy he was the son of the late Philip and Teresa (Cedrone) Cedrone.

Dr. Cedrone attended the Providence Public Schools. He was a graduate of Providence College and the Chicago College of Podiatry. He practiced podiatry in Cranston for thirty-two years before his retirement in 1992. Dr. Cedrone was a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a past president of the RI Podiatry Society. An avid golfer, Dr. Cedrone was a longtime member of the Quidnessett and Pelican Nest Country Clubs.

Besides his beloved wife Sadie, he is survived by one son, Paul J. Cedrone and his wife Deborah of Harrisville, RI. He was the grandfather of Lauren Emily Cedrone. Dr. Cedrone was the brother of Edith Baccari of North Providence, Gloria Pirie of Naples, FL and Eileen Biancuzzo of Barrington. He was the uncle of Dr. Janis L. Baccari, Rachael M. and Martin R. Biancuzzo.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
